Job summary

Qualifications

• Proper and current certification or licenses as mandated by the state of California.
• Prior practical experience in a professional environment, hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with high level of guest service orientation.
• Ability to work with a diverse population and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and abide by state sanitation/health regulations and hotel requirements.
• Know correct maintenance and use of equipment; use tools safely and as intended.
• Follow departmental and hotel policies and procedures.
• Meet with Sous Chef to review assignments and anticipate business levels.
• Open shift duties: operate equipment and unlock secured areas.
• Prepare and stock workstation for daily tasks and rotate stock as needed.
