Job summary

BCI in Wahiawa, Hawaii is seeking a Cook I to prepare food at the hot station and serve customers in accordance with federal, state, and company standards. You will follow recipes, monitor temperatures, and plate meals while maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include using commercial kitchen equipment, portioning, assisting in dishroom when needed, and ensuring food safety every step.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to stand for 6–7 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with correct portioning and temperatures.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitization of all work surfaces and equipment.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in the dishroom to support business needs.
• Follows safety meetings and FIFO procedures.
