Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cook I at the University campus in Cincinnati. You’ll prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold items for all meals and events, following Sodexo culinary standards. You’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while keeping your workstation clean and organized.

Requires a High School diploma or GED and 0–2 years of related experience. Shifts vary with open availability preferred. Pay range $19.91–$20.41 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and food-handling procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation and reading recipes unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold foods per standards.
• Follow recipes and product directions for dishes; manage production levels.
• Keep records and plan production requirements; ensure supply readiness.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and uphold food safety.
