Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment.
• Read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to current applicable standards to provide high-quality service.
• Follow recipes and product directions for soups, meats, vegetables, and other dishes.
• Estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records to plan production.
• Significant walking or mobility.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Perform repetitive motions.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
