Job summary

Global Connections to Employment (GCE) is hiring a Cook I to accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner and special events. Responsibilities may vary by account and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Must possess knowledge of basic operation of a kitchen.
• Understand oral and/or written instructions.
• Ability to read and quantify recipes, and menus.
• Interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, subcontractor, and GCE management, and team members.
• Meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on specified contract.
• Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
