Limelight Hotels in Ketchum, Idaho is hiring a Cook I to prepare and cook a variety of dishes in a fast-paced hotel kitchen. You will follow established recipes and safety standards while maintaining organization and supporting inventory, training and daily operations under the Chef de Cuisine.

The role requires a culinary background, 3 years of food prep experience, and strong English communication; ServSafe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or equivalent preferred
• 3 years of food preparation experience required
• ServSafe or similar food safety course certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to standardized recipes, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Maintain an organized, clean work environment per sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory management and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment and perform basic maintenance.
• Ensure correct portion sizes and attractive presentation.
• Train others on kitchen equipment operation.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth service and clear communication.
• Manage cooking times during peak periods to ensure timely service.
• Follow safety and health regulations for handling, storage and cleaning.
• Fill out checkout lists in absence of supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
