Taplands in Santa Clara is seeking RELIABLE, motivated, creative, and hardworking cooks to join our small, busy kitchen in a Craft Beer bar. The ideal candidates are team players, friendly, collaborative, flexible, and respectful, capable of working under pressure.

Our menu is simple, but our volume can be high. We need someone who can take charge of our kitchen operations, including menu execution, food preparation, customer service, and inventory management. The role involves cooking, prep work, tracking and ordering food supplies, menu planning, and cleaning. Both full-time and part-time shifts are available, with evening and weekend availability required.

Cook Responsibilities

1. Set up, clean, and organize work stations
2. Prepare ingredients for the shift, such as slicing deli meats and preparing appetizer setups
3. Receive orders from a computerized system
4. Cook orders according to food safety and health standards
5. Handle multiple food orders simultaneously
6. Monitor ongoing orders as new ones arrive
7. Ensure each guest order is accurate and complete with correct food and accompaniments
8. Deliver food orders to wait staff promptly
9. Sanitize and clean work stations and utensils
