Job Title: Food Service Worker

Schedule Options

1. Wednesday-Saturday, 11:00 am - 9:30 pm; Sunday-Tuesday off
2. Sunday-Tuesday & Thursday, 11:00 am - 9:30 pm; Wednesday, Friday & Saturday off

This position can be either a 12-month position or a 9-month position with a 3-month hiatus (mid-June through August and 2 weeks in December). A 15% shift differential applies to 2nd shift.

Onsite only; remote work is not eligible.

Position Details

This is not a term or grant-funded position. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

Position Purpose

Assist with the preparation of food items listed on the daily menu and for catered functions under close supervision. Work in various kitchen areas such as grill, bakery, salad, etc., and receive on-the-job training in food service and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of relevant food preparation experience or equivalent.
• Ability to pass ServSafe and Allertrain trainings.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of sanitation and cleanliness procedures.
• Familiarity with cooking methods, recipes, and basic math skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Completion of Hazard Communication training prior to work.

Additional Information
