Job summary

Taziki's Café is hiring for a Kitchen Team Member in Owens Cross Roads. This role focuses on preparing fresh Mediterranean-inspired items, stocking stations, and ensuring food safety. No late nights or early mornings, with a supportive training environment and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience preferred but not required; training provided.
• Proficient knife skills and safe handling of kitchen equipment.
• Ability to operate all standard kitchen devices and tools.
• Good communication with teammates and supervisors.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Capable of working independently and with the team as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh food items daily with accuracy.
• Set up and stock stations with required supplies.
• Maintain menu/product knowledge.
• Manage orders efficiently and timely.
• Prepare catering orders as needed.
• Handle food safely and store products properly.
• Uphold hygiene and appearance standards.
• Adhere to health department standards during shifts.
• Clean and maintain kitchen, dish, and prep areas.
• Perform opening/closing duties and shift tasks.
• Complete all course certifications in the training platform.

Responsibilities

• Preparing fresh food items daily and accurately

Your Working Conditions/ Hours

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 8am - 4pm
• Evenings - 4pm - 10pm
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You’ll work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
