Job summary

Taziki's Cafe is hiring Kitchen Team Members to join our fast-casual team in a Mediterranean-inspired kitchen. You will help prepare fresh items, stock stations, learn menu details, and support catering orders in a clean, fast-paced environment.

Experience is welcome but not required; we provide training. Expect a flexible schedule, daily meals on shift, and opportunities for growth toward ownership as you contribute to a positive, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience preferred but not required; training provided.
• Proper knife skills.
• Ability to operate all necessary kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing fresh food items daily and accurately.
• Set up and stocking of stations with all necessary supplies.
• Menu and product knowledge.
• Managing orders efficiently.
• Preparing catering orders.
• Proper food handling and storage of food products.
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance.
• Maintaining health department standards throughout each shift.
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish, and prep areas.
• Performing shift-side work to include opening and closing duties.
• Completing all course certifications for Kitchen Team Members in our training platform.

Your Working Conditions/ Hours:

A typical work day at Taziki's may look like:

• Morning shift - 8am - 4pm
• Evenings - 4pm - 10pm
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You’ll work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
