Market of Choice in Eugene, Oregon is seeking cooks to join our friendly, professional team. The position starts at $16.10/hour and goes up to $18.60/hour, with growth potential to $19.60/hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef/Kitchen Manager in daily activities.
• Coordinate timing of orders and production schedules with the Chef/Kitchen Manager.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, entrees, catering trays and soups for hot and cold cases.
• Handle counter work during busy periods.
• Deliver assigned orders promptly and assist with inventory and ordering of products.
• Train new kitchen workers and assistants.
• Prepare deep fried, baked, stove top foods, and salads.
• Maintain positive relations with customers, vendors and employees.
• Maintain Health and Safety sanitation requirements.
• Have a current Food Handler card.
