Market of Choice in Medford, OR is hiring cooks to join our friendly, professional kitchen team. This position starts at $16.10/hour with growth potential up to $22.00/hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional cooking experience.
• Available any shift including weekends.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current Food Handler card or certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef/Kitchen Manager in daily activities.
• Coordinate timing of orders and production schedules.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, entrees, catering trays and soups for hot and cold cases.
• Counter work during busy periods.
• Timely delivery of assigned orders and other orders as needed.
• Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory of kitchen supplies.
• Train new kitchen workers and assistants.
• Maintain health and safety sanitation standards.
