Market of Choice in Bend, Oregon, is hiring cooks to join a friendly and professional kitchen. Our state-of-the-art facilities offer a great opportunity to advance your culinary career. This position starts at $19/hour - $21.50/hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional cooking experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current Food Handler card.

Responsibilities

• Assist kitchen leadership with daily tasks.
• Coordinate order timing and production schedules.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, entrees, catering trays and soups.
• Counter duties during peak hours.
• Deliver orders promptly as assigned.
• Assist with ordering and inventory of fresh, frozen, sundry products.
• Train new kitchen staff.
• Prepare fried, baked, stovetop items and salads.
• Maintain positive relations with customers, vendors and staff.
• Maintain health and safety sanitation standards.
