Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis - Catherine's Café in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a dedicated cook to oversee food production across all areas of the department.

You will be responsible for producing high-quality, visually appealing dishes quickly and efficiently, while adhering to recipes and standards. The role requires knowledge of various cooking methods and the ability to manage time effectively to deliver meals within scheduled windows.

Qualifications

Shift: Full-Time

Jefferson: Food Handlers within 90 days of hire.

Springfield: Food Handers within 90 days of hire.

Other: Skills, knowledge and abilities: Excellent integrity Takes initiative Good moral character. Basic Math Skills Time Management Skills Great interpersonal skills Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Equipment Used: All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer Also able to push, pull and grip 50 pounds and pinch 10 pounds.

Preferred Education

High school diploma or its equivalent.
