Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Cook positions.

• Location: Health First - 8745 North Wickham Road, Viera, FL 32940. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time; open availability preferred. Hours and days may vary; more details upon interview.
• Requirements: Previous short-order cook experience and food sanitation and safety experience are preferred but not required.
• Pay Range: $15.50 to $17.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality food using standardized recipes to meet schedules.
• Serve meals, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation; taste all food items.
• Follow ticket collection procedures and maintain records.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safe food-handling procedures.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in production planning, ordering, and record keeping.
• Report maintenance issues immediately.
• Attend safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintain good working relationships and perform duties safely.
• Follow HACCP standards and all safety policies, including proper use of protective gloves and footwear.
