Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality food items using standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation. Taste all prepared food items.
• Use established ticket procedures during service and maintain records from your area.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, store or discard excess food following safe handling procedures.
• Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, storing food and supplies properly.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
• Help in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
• Attend in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Follow safety protocols, including proper handling and safety procedures for equipment and hot items, and wear slip-resistant shoes.
