We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time COOK positions.

Location: Capital One Landing - 105 Air Cargo Road, Arlington, VA 22202. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules available; open availability preferred. Hours and days may vary; more details upon interview.

Requirement: Kitchen or line experience required.

Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions to meet production and service schedules.
2. Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation. Tastes all prepared food items.
3. Uses established ticket collection procedures and maintains records during service.
4. Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen, stores or discards excess food safely.
5. Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies.
6. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
7. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
8. Assists with ordering and receiving food and supplies.
9. Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
10. Attends safety and in-service meetings.
11. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
12. Follows safety standards, including HACCP protocols, and uses proper protective gear.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
