Michiana Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time cook to prepare and serve meals for patients, facility staff and guests, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and follow sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Comply with established sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Use portion control guidelines when preparing and serving food.
• Record dish machine temperatures as required.
• Follow cleaning assignments of the dining room and kitchen area daily.
• Interact well with patients in the serving line providing good customer service and offer assistance when needed.
• The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience in quantity cooking and a basic knowledge of modified diets and experience in utilizing institutional kitchen equipment and utensils.
