Job Details
  • Location: Timbercrest Senior Living - 2201 East Street, North Manchester, IN 46962
  • Schedule: Full-time; open availability preferred. Morning and mid-shift hours; more details provided during interview.
  • Experience: Prior experience preferred.
  • Pay Range: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes and schedules.
  2. Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.
  3. Follow ticket collection procedures and maintain records during service.
  4. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and storage areas following safety standards.
  5. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly.
  6. Assist with production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
  7. Report maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
  8. Participate in safety and in-service meetings.
  9. Foster good working relationships with colleagues and management.
  10. Follow safety protocols, including the use of protective gloves and proper lifting techniques.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
  12. Ensure proper food presentation, portion control, and temperature maintenance, following HACCP standards.
