• We are hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position.
• Location: Jones Day NY - 250 Vesey Street, 33rd Floor, New York, NY 10281. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties:

• Prepare high-quality food per recipes and instructions to meet schedules.
• Serve meals, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation. Taste all foods.
• Follow ticket procedures during service and keep records.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safety procedures.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in planning, record-keeping, ordering, and reporting.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Attend safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintain good relationships with team and customers.
• Follow HACCP standards and safety policies, including proper glove and glove use, slip-resistant shoes, and lifting techniques.
