Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food according to standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare high-quality food items per recipes to meet schedules.
  • Serve meals, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation. Taste all food items.
  • Use ticket procedures during service. Maintain records.
  • Clean kitchen after use, store or discard excess food safely.
  • Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
  • Assist in planning, record keeping, and ordering.
  • Report maintenance issues immediately.
  • Attend safety and in-service meetings.
  • Maintain good relationships with coworkers and customers.
  • Perform job safely, maintaining a clean environment.
  • Follow HACCP standards for presentation, portion control, and temperature.
  • Adhere to safety policies, including glove and footwear requirements.
