Job Title: Cook

We are hiring immediately for full-time COOK positions at Intuit, located at 2601 Garcia Avenue, Mountain View, CA 94043. Online applications are accepted only.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepares high-quality food items following standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules.
2. Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation. Tastes all prepared food items.
3. Uses established ticket collection procedures and maintains records during service.
4. Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen and stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures.
5. Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies.
6. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
7. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as needed.
8. Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
9. Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
10. Attends in-service and safety meetings.
11. Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
12. Performs job safely, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
14. Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
15. Complies with all safety policies, including the use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
