Pay Range

This range is provided by Watsonville Community Hospital. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $21.89/hr - $29.81/hr

Position Summary

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services, the Grill Cook is responsible for completing all assigned duties in a safe, timely, and sanitary manner. Responsibilities include preparing food, maintaining an organized and clean work environment, and following all food procurement policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate, read, and write in English.
• Basic mathematical skills required.

Experience

• Experience in a hospital (acute care or long-term care), restaurant, or commercial food service preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Food Handler Certificate required within 90 days.
