Job Opportunity: Cook at Canteen

We are hiring immediately for full-time Cook positions at Canteen, located at Mountaire Farms, 17269 NC Highway 71 North, Lumber Bridge, NC 28357. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, hours may vary, with some Saturdays required. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: At least three years of prior cooking experience is required. Willing to train!

Pay Range: $14.00 to $15.00 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Job Summary

Prepare food according to standards, ensuring quality service at all times. Responsibilities include:

1. Preparing high-quality food following recipes and instructions.
2. Serving meals with proper portioning and presentation, ensuring correct temperatures and taste.
3. Using ticket procedures during service and maintaining records.
4. Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas.
5. Operating and maintaining kitchen equipment.
6. Assisting with production planning, ordering, and reporting.
7. Reporting maintenance issues.
8. Participating in safety and in-service meetings.
9. Maintaining good relationships with coworkers and customers.
10. Following safety standards and company policies, including proper use of protective gear and safe lifting techniques.
