We are hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position.

Location

Lower Dauphin School District - 251 Quarry Road, Hummelstown, PA 17036. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule

Full-time schedule: 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, days may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirements

Previous culinary experience is preferred. Willing to train!

Pay Rate

$15.00 per hour

Job Summary

Prepares food according to standards and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions.
2. Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.
3. Use ticket procedures during service, maintain records.
4. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
5. Store food and supplies properly.
6. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
7. Assist in planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
8. Report maintenance issues immediately.
9. Attend safety meetings.
10. Maintain good relationships with staff and customers.
11. Follow HACCP standards and safety policies.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
