Job summary

Seaton Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our team in a senior living community. You will prepare hot and cold menu items across grill, saute, salad-bar, and service lines, ensuring meals meet standardized recipes and portion controls while maintaining high quality and presentation standards.

Ideal candidates have prior senior living experience and strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living highly preferred.
• Experience with production methods and portion control is required.
• Strong organization and presentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items on grill, saute station, salad-bar and service line.
• Ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving per menu and recipes.
• Taste and assess quality and palatability of dishes.

Our community is looking for a Cook to join our team.

Cook Responsibilities:

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line;
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes;
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Senior Living highly preferred
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Great organizational skills a must
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required.
• Must be able to work evenings, and weekends.
