Seaton Senior Living, part of the Discovery Senior Living family, is seeking a Cook to join our team at our Maryland community. You will prepare hot and cold menu items across grill, sauté, salad-bar and service lines, ensuring proper portions and consistent quality.

The role emphasizes safety, presentation, and collaboration with the dining team. Ideal candidates have experience in senior living, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Formación

• Experience in senior living is highly preferred.
• Experience with food production methods and safety required.
• Great organizational skills are a must.
• Strong communication and attention to detail are required.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

Our community is looking for a Cook to join our team.

Cook Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line;
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes;
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living highly preferred
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Great organizational skills a must
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required.
• Must be able to work evenings, and weekends.
