Job Summary

Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepares high-quality food items per recipes and instructions to meet schedules.
2. Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation. Tastes all prepared food.
3. Uses established ticket procedures during service and maintains records.
4. Maintains cleanliness of kitchen, stores or discards excess food per safety procedures.
5. Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, ensuring proper storage.
6. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
7. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
8. Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
9. Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
10. Attends safety and in-service meetings.
11. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers.
12. Performs job safely, maintaining a clean, safe environment.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
14. Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
15. Prioritizes safety for oneself and others.
16. Follows all company policies, including safety procedures when handling equipment and hot items.
