Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions.
• Serve meals with correct portioning, proper temperature, and attractive presentation. Taste all prepared food.
• Use established ticket procedures during service and maintain records.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safety standards.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Report maintenance issues immediately.
• Attend safety meetings and maintain good relationships with staff and customers.
• Follow HACCP standards for presentation, portion control, and temperatures.
• Adhere to all company policies, including safety procedures like glove and shoe use and proper lifting techniques.
