Job Description for Cook at Flik Hospitality Group

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Cook position at Flik Hospitality Group.

Location: Kirkland & Ellis Chicago - 333 Wolf Point, Chicago, IL 60654 (online applications accepted only).

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. More details provided during interview.

Requirements: Previous cooking experience required.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food using standardized recipes to meet schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
• Follow ticket collection procedures and maintain records during service.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safe food-handling procedures.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, assist in planning, ordering, and reporting.
• Report maintenance issues immediately and attend safety meetings.
• Maintain good relationships with coworkers and customers, perform duties safely.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and temperature maintenance, following HACCP standards.
• Adhere to all safety policies, including the use of protective gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
