  • We are hiring immediately for full-time COOK positions.
  • Location: Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation - 1100 Blythe Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28203. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full-time; days may vary, 5:00 am to 7:00 pm. Rotating weekends. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Prior healthcare experience preferred.
  • Pay Range: $18.50 to $21.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality and safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare high-quality food items following recipes and standards.
  • Serve meals with correct portions, temperatures, and presentation; taste all foods.
  • Use proper ticketing procedures; maintain records during service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas; handle excess food safely.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
  • Assist with production planning, ordering, and record keeping.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Participate in safety and in-service meetings.
  • Maintain positive relationships with team and customers.
  • Follow HACCP standards for food safety.
  • Adhere to safety policies, including proper glove and equipment use.
