Job summary

Total Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a cook to prepare, plate, and serve meals for patients and staff in a pediatric rehabilitation setting. The role requires maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and adhering to standardized recipes and schedules.

Candidates should have at least one year of healthcare food preparation experience, basic sanitation knowledge, and a current San Bernardino County DPH Food Worker card.

Qualifications

• One year of food preparation experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Knowledge of basic principles of quantity food production, service and sanitation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Current County of San Bernardino DPH Certified Food Worker card.
• Knowledge of CMS conditions of participation, CDPH state regulations, CCS, and TJC as applicable.
