Legend Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join the Gold Leaf Dining team. You will prepare nourishing meals from scratch using fresh ingredients, and support residents with dietary needs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a commercial restaurant.
• Ability to provide high-level culinary service and professional interaction with residents.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment; organized, flexible and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Providing hands-on assistance with dietary needs of residents and special meal requests.
• Preparing meals from the menu plan and assisting with meal service.
• Maintaining cleanliness of production and service areas.
• Inspecting work, storage, preparation, and service areas to meet food service standards.
• Following safe work procedures including food safety and infection control.
• Labeling and dating all food in refrigeration and storage areas.
• Adhering to company policies and guidelines.
