Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare nourishing meals from scratch using fresh ingredients, contributing to the Gold Leaf Dining experience that sets high standards for atmosphere and quality.

You will work closely with residents and fellow associates to ensure dietary needs are met while maintaining clean production and service areas. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a supportive senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a commercial restaurant.
• Ability to provide the highest level of culinary service and professional interaction to residents and associates.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, be organized, flexible, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with residents' dietary needs and fulfill special meal requests.
• Prepare meals from the menu plan and assist with meal service.
• Maintain cleanliness of production and service areas.
• Inspect work, storage, preparation, and service areas to meet food service standards and regulations.
• Follow safe work procedures including food safety and infection control.
• Properly label and date all food in refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage.
