Sun Outdoors in Casa Grande, AZ is seeking a Cook to prepare a variety of food items and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen. You will handle opening/closing duties, assist with menu planning, and ensure ingredients are stocked and available for daily service.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of kitchen experience, a high school diploma or GED, and basic computer skills. Crew responsibilities include teamwork, reliability, and adherence to health standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months in previous restaurant cook experience is required.
• Basic computer proficiency, including email and internet use.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of food preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food ordered by customers using a variety of kitchen equipment.
• Performs shift opening and closing duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager.
• Maintains kitchen areas and equipment in a clean, sanitary, and organized state.
• Restocks products as needed throughout shift.
• Collaborates with Restaurant Manager on daily specials and new menu items.
• Monitors menu cycle and notifies shortages to the Restaurant Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
