Job summary

Healthcare Services Group in Tennessee is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook meals for residents in a long‑term care facility. You will follow menus and recipes while upholding quality, safety, and presentation standards.

You will interact with residents and staff, assist with inventory and ordering, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen. A high school diploma is required, with prior cooking experience preferred, and ServSafe certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food prep experience preferred.
• Able to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain positive attitude and communicate with occupants, staff and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus/recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests; provide good service.
• All other duties as assigned.
