Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility.

You will follow planned menus, ensure food quality, safety, and presentation, and assist with inventory and supplies while delivering friendly service to residents and staff. Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent); prior cooking experience is preferred; ability to follow recipes, maintain sanitation, and comply with vaccination policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook or food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must meet COVID-19 vaccination policy.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
