Food City is seeking a Food Service Associate to support our mission of Run the Best Store in Town. You will greet customers, provide fast, friendly service, and assist in food preparation within the Food Service department.

The role emphasizes teamwork, maintaining clean work areas, and following food safety guidelines. Flexible schedules and opportunities to learn multiple areas are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service and greet customers.
• Prepare food for the Food Service department per guideline.
• Prepare and produce quality food to meet expectations.
• Assist in ordering product and supplies as needed.
• Keep workstation neat and clean and follow food safety program.
