Job summary

Food City is seeking an on-site Food Service Associate to deliver friendly, prompt customer service and support the store's mission to Run the Best Store in Town.

You will assist in the Food Service area, prepare items per guidelines, maintain clean workstations, rotate stock, and participate in ordering and restocking tasks. Training across multiple areas is expected to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and perform routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times.
• Prepare all food for the Food Service department as directed.
• Prepare and produce quality food to meet customer and company expectations.
• Assist in keeping workstation clean and organized and rotate product for freshness.
• Assist in ordering product and supplies for daily operation.
• Cross-trained across multiple areas with varying responsibilities.
