Job summary

Trinity Services Group is hiring a Cook to work onsite inside a jail/correctional facility in Yankton, SD. You will follow recipes, manage your station, and help the kitchen run smoothly with a team. Shifts are 8:00am–1:00pm and 3:00pm–7:00pm, with some weekends and holidays involved.

We require at least 1 year of cooking experience, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Great benefits and DailyPay are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of relevant cooking experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Prior cafeteria or large-volume kitchen experience preferred.
• Experience with safety procedures in a cafeteria environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and close: follow Daily Prep List and checklists.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers.
• Handle, label, rotate, and store products per state laws.
• Stand, lift, and move during long shifts; work as a team.
