Job summary

Village Inn is seeking a cook to prepare meals per company recipes and standards, ensuring timely and attractive presentation in a family-friendly setting. You will work on a fast-paced line, keeping ingredients fresh and dishes well-presented.

Responsibilities include following recipes, operating kitchen equipment, and performing opening/closing duties. On-the-job training and opportunities for advancement are offered in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age to operate equipment.
• Successful completion of required training program.
• Minimum of six months of related experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh.
• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
• Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry, and other foods.
• Present, garnish and arrange final dishes.
• Occasionally serve food.
• Complete opening and/or closing duties.
