Job summary

Village Inn is hiring a Server to greet guests, take orders, and deliver meals with care. You will explain menu items, suggest options, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate, timely service. The role emphasizes attentiveness, sanitation, and collaboration in a fast-paced dining environment.

Candidates should be at least 16, with some experience preferred. Training and flexible hours are offered, along with a supportive team and opportunities to learn our POS system and service

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old and meet any state age requirements.
• No one under 18 may operate, clean, adjust or touch a slicer or mixer.
• Minimum of six months of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and seating customers.
• Taking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system.
• Making menu item recommendations.
• Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff.
• Ensuring all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that food is high quality.
• Providing attentive service to diners, like refilling drinks and checking needs during meals.
• Promptly addressing any customer service issues and referring to management when necessary.
• Performing cleaning duties at the service station, around the kitchen and in the dining area.
