Job summary

Far West Restaurant Group in Bellflower, CA seeks a dedicated Cook to prepare fresh, high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen. You’ll follow food safety standards, work with a team, and help ensure on-time orders while delivering the Wingstop experience guests expect.

You’ll be evaluated on attitude, teamwork, reliability, and willingness to learn; training and development are provided, including certifications and ongoing skill growth.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Certification required.
• Restaurant or cooking experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to company recipes and standards.
• Cook, sauce, and package orders accurately.
• Ensure every order meets quality and presentation standards.
• Read and prepare orders quickly and accurately.
• Work with Front of House team to deliver orders on time.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures including oil filtering.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Help minimize food waste while maintaining product quality.
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning tasks including hood filter changes.
• Support your team wherever needed.
• Help create an exceptional guest experience with every order.
