Burgermaster, a locally owned fast casual restaurant in Seattle, seeks a cook to prepare and cook to order, handle daily prep, and maintain sanitary kitchen stations. Responsibilities include setup, stock, and assisting with cleaning and safety protocols.

Must have food handler’s permit within 7 days of hire and prior restaurant experience. Eligible for benefits based on eligibility, with shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and cooks to order foods in the pantry, fry and/or stations in the kitchen.
• Food prep including slicing, cutting, chopping food daily.
• Sets up station according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepares and cooks food according to instructions, in a timely and sanitary manner.
• Restocks items as needed.
• Cleans work area and food preparation equipment.
• Assists with cleaning, sanitation and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage areas.
• Responds promptly to customer needs.
• Responds to requests for service and assistance.
• Observes safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures, determines appropriate action beyond guidelines and reports unsafe conditions.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
