Job summary

ACGBBQ LLC operates Sonny’s BBQ and seeks BOH team members to provide the most memorable guest experiences through quality food and service. The role involves cooking, operating grill and fry stations, following Sonny’s procedures, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Team members must be able to work independently and as part of a team, manage time effectively, and handle physical tasks including lifting up to 90 pounds. Training and benefits are provided per company policy.

Qualifications

• Related experience and/or training in the restaurant industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills

Responsibilities

• Ability to cook
• Memorize and apply Sonny’s BOH terminology, plating, items, procedures, utensils, abbreviations, and methodologies.
• Navigate around equipment and manage the grill.
• Work with frying equipment and bread grill; read orders and follow KDS protocols.
• Maintain a clean workstation and adhere to sanitary guidelines.
• Perform cleaning duties during and at end of shift.
• Use a meat slicer and sharp knives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
