Sunrise Senior Living in West Orange, NJ seeks a Cook to prepare meals per recipes, ensure quality and safety, and support dining service. You will follow dietary modifications, record temperatures, and maintain clean kitchen areas while contributing to a positive dining experience for residents.

The role includes leading food production when the Dining Services Coordinator is unavailable, working within Sunrise safety guidelines and OSHA standards, and participating in a team that celebrates

Qualifications

• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator

Pay Range: 19.65 - 24.65
