Job summary

Senior Living Residences' Concord Park is seeking a cook to prepare and plate meals for residents and special events, while accommodating dietary needs to uphold a safe, home-like dining experience for our senior residents.

This full-time role offers Sunday-Thursday shifts, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with pay starting at $20 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, holidays, health, dental, and vision insurance, disability coverage, life insurance and retirement plan with company

Qualifications

• Food safety certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of cook experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to lift trays and move dining ware as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate meals for residents and special events.
• Accommodate dietary needs of residents.
• Maintain clean, organized kitchen and assist with other dining tasks as needed.

Rates start at $20 per hour

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

The cook will be responsible for preparing and plating food for meals and special events, and accommodating residents' dietary needs as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification: Food Safety certification, preferred
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years as a cook in a fast-paced setting
• Physical requirements : Lifting trays and dishes, occasionally moving dining tables and furniture
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
