Job summary

The Courville at Nashua is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our Culinary Team in Nashua, NH. This full-time role includes a combo position with Dietary Aide duties upon need, offering an opportunity to contribute to a warm, resident-centered dining experience.

The ideal candidate is dependable, focused on great service, and brings a passion for food. Training is available, and a positive attitude is valued in our team-oriented facility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety in the workplace.
• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day.
• Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the facility policies.
• Must be able to perform job-related functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Cooking experience preferred; Training available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain in a clean and safe manner, including all supplies and equipment.
• Adhere to the work schedule.
• Assist other members of the kitchen staff with meal preparation.
• Serve residents and their guests in a friendly, timely and courteous manner.
• Assist in cleaning the dining rooms following meal service.
• Prep materials for the next shift.
• Assist with special events within the facility.
• Prepare special orders from residents and their guests.
