Job summary

CURA of Watkins is seeking a caring Cook/Dietary Aide to join our dietary team in a long-term care campus. You’ll prepare nutritious meals, follow menus, and support residents with friendly service.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or healthcare dining is preferred but training is provided.
• Demonstrates reliability, empathy, and a collaborative work style.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents according to menus.
• Follow recipes, portioning, and safe food handling procedures.
• Assist with meal service, sanitation, and kitchen cleanup.
• Maintain clean dining areas and collaborate with the dietary team.
• Support residents with kind and respectful service.

CURA of Watkins is looking for a caring, dependable, and team-oriented Cook/Dietary Aide to join our dietary team! We are a long-term care campus dedicated to providing quality care and creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for our residents.

Position: Cook/Dietary Aide

• Full-Time
• Day Shift
• Long-term care setting

What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve nutritious, appealing meals for our residents
• Follow menus, recipes, and food safety guidelines
• Assist with meal preparation, serving, and clean-up
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining areas
• Help provide friendly, respectful service to residents
• Work closely with the dietary team and other campus staff
• Follow special diets and resident-specific meal requirements

• Dependable and responsible team member
• Positive attitude and willingness to work with others
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
• Previous cooking or dietary experience is helpful, but we are willing to train
• Most importantly, someone who enjoys serving and caring for others
