Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells is hiring Prep Cooks and Cooks for Daylene's Supper Club to deliver a friendly, responsive dining experience and elevate guest satisfaction. You'll work in a fast-paced kitchen, following recipes, safety standards, and collaborating with a supportive leadership team that embodies the Lead with Love philosophy.

This role offers growth within a family-owned hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of progressive culinary experience in a hotel restaurant or related facility.
• State or Local Food Handling certification required; ServSafe is a plus.
• Experience with standard kitchen equipment and safety procedures.
• English communication skills; bilingual an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve all food per recipes, portions, timing, and presentation standards.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and inspect equipment regularly.
• Follow health, safety, and labor regulations relevant to kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with team to deliver outstanding guest dining experiences.

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking PrepCooks and Cooks for Daylene's Supper Club. In this role, you will provide a friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests.

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to the facility recipes, portioning, cooking, timing, serving, and presentation standards.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the culinary preventative maintenance programs.
• Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the kitchen areas, associates and guests.
• Participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily.

What We’re Looking For

• 1 year of progressive culinary experience in a hotel restaurant/food outlet facility or related field helpful.
• State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of state-certified proper food handling certification. ServSafe® certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of equipment to be operated, but not limited to are: Flat grill, Pasta well, Steam table, Browning oven, Cheese chopper/grater, Steam jacket, Ovens, Top Burners, Pizza and Dessert Cooler, Slicer, Broiler, Steamer, and Knives.
• Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively. Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, work under pressure and meet deadlines with particular attention to detail.
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
